SCS Lab Days 2018
We had 24 Diploma students attend our Lab Days in March at the London College of Fashion.
We had the usual mix of students from the UK, various European countries and probably the furthest journey this year was from Hong Kong.
Claire Summers from Azelis was the instructor for both days, assisted by LCF Laboratory staff, who were very professional as ever and helped both days run smoothly; nothing was too much trouble!
Both days were very informative and included a broad range of formulations from body lotions to eye shadows and lipsticks.
The days are aimed at students who would otherwise not have an opportunity for any ‘hands on’ experience and also offer students a chance to meet others on the course, many who stay in touch with each other for the remainder of the course.
At the end of each day, all the students were delighted to be able to take home a good selection of all the cosmetic goodies they had produced.
We are fortunate that Claire Summers makes time to instruct on both days and that the LCF accommodates these days on our behalf.
For the students that attend, many felt that the experience gave them a real confidence boost and Claire was on hand to answer any formulating and other questions.
