Science Behind Beauty Makes Impressive Debut

You can never predict how something is going to work out when you’re doing it for the first time, but the SCS ran its first Science Behind Beauty media event in collaboration with the CTPA on 12 May 2015 and what a genuine success it turned out to be. A mix of beauty journalists, cosmetic marketers and scientists gathered to learn more about the science behind cosmetics in a thoroughly engaging evening.

Comments like “brilliant”, “excellent” and “inspiring” ringing round the room as attendees chatted with each other and speakers over drinks after the presentations confirmed that this was hopefully just the first of many such events.

Congratulations to the organisers and to speakers Steve Barton (Skin Thinking & SCS Vice President), Sam Farmer (Sam Farmer) and Barbara Hall (SURECONSULT) as well as Emma Meredith (CTPA & SCS President) for explaining that:
