Gem Bektas – Head of Operations
Gem provides leadership for the Society and is responsible for operational management, constitutional requirements and her duties range from financial control to event organisation. Gem and her team are all supported by the hard work of volunteers from within the SCS membership who give their valuable time on committees and council.
Caroline Holford – Marketing Manager
Caroline leads the Society’s marketing function and oversees all related activities. With over 30 years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing across a variety of sectors, she brings a wealth of experience and a strategic focus on communications and events. Caroline plays a key role in shaping and supporting the Society’s outreach and engagement efforts.
Tina Line – Membership Engagement & Events Administrator
Tina supports the Head of Operations and is responsible for the SCS membership and office administration. She is also responsible for accounts payable, liaising with companies, members, and is the general point of contact for the Society.
Bernice Ridley – Education Programme Manager
Bernice looks after the education programme for the Society. She ensures all course material is up-to-date and relevant. She is in regular contact with the authors and coursework setters. Bernice is also involved in the development of future courses for the Society.
Karen Johnson – Office Administrator
Karen looks after the SCS Diploma students for the Society. She is the conduit between the students and the authors/markers.
Neil Dominic T Pangilinan, PhD – Education Associate
Dominic provides support for the Society’s Education Team and works on projects with the Education Programme Manager to update and create new educational content.
He liaises with authors of units and also supports the SCS Diploma students with day to day technical enquiries whilst they study the Diploma.
