Council and Steering Groups
SCS Council and Steering/Working Groups
The Society is made up of a Council which consists of:
President, Immediate Past President, Vice-President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, and at least nine ordinary members. The policies formed by the Council are supported by active committees:
- Executive Committee (Officers of the Society)
- Scientific Programme – Steering Group / Regional Development Working Groups
- Education Steering Group
- Membership Steering Group
- International Journal of Cosmetic Science – Steering Group
SCS membership is made up of individual members who are either working in the cosmetic science industry or are involved in an allied industry. All Council Steering Group are made up of member volunteers.
Policies and Procedures
The Society of Cosmetic Scientists sets out its Code of Conduct and Practice Policy. This is supported by its Complaints Policy and Procedure, Privacy Policy and Media Policy
