Synopsis
Sensory aspects of skincare enrich consumer’s well-being. Understanding the experience of product application and the impact different touch techniques have on skin biology is essential when developing new skincare products. Cultures around the world approach touch differently; in order to be adopted and enhance product efficacy, application techniques should reflect cultural paradigms.
