Southern education event
GOING BACK TO BASICS
During this event we are going back to basics, looking at the skin as our basic target and asking whether it is possible to deliver innovative, sustainable products that target a more holistic approach in our quest for youthfulness.
SKIN, LIFE, THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING
Dr Paul Matts
Sometimes, our industry presents skin as little more than a decorative bag, a repository for useful organs, there to be poked, primped and coloured. Paul will, in contrast, present skin as a potent entropy-regulator, the ultimate interface with an environment of ever-increasing hostility, vital to human life on planet earth. He will present an elevated vision of the role of our industry and the benefits we bring to the world’s consumers.
INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY AND CROSS-FUNCTIONALITY: CAN GREENER PRODUCTS BRING A MORE HOLISTIC APPROACH TO ANTI-AGEING? A CASE STUDY
Dr Andrea Mitarotonda
Andrea will present a case study showing how the development of innovative and sustainable natural ingredients led to the creation of topical and internal products for a more holistic approach to ‘better-ageing’.
Time 6.30pm start with a light buffet and refreshments
